Domaine Joyeux Bordel, located between Tautavel and Latour-de-France in the heart of the Catalan Corbières, is a micro-estate of 3 hectares managed with natural viticulture. The vines, planted on rich terroirs between sea and mountains, are worked entirely by hand, without any chemical inputs or synthetic products. Since 2019, the estate produces around 2,000 bottles per year, resulting from artisanal winemaking carried out in a cellar in Latour-de-France. Each cuvée is made without oenological additives, reflecting a minimalist and respectful approach to living things. The estate thus produces sincere and lively natural wines, expressing the purity of the grape and the identity of their terroir of the Catalan Corbières.

Roussillon wine country: an exceptional terroir

The Pyrénées-Orientales is one of France's most authentic wine regions. Roussillon offers a mosaic of unique terroirs: black schist from the Agly valley, granite from Les Aspres, limestone from Fenouillèdes and rolled pebbles from the plain. This geological diversity, combined with a Mediterranean climate tempered by the Tramontane wind, gives birth to wines of remarkable character.

Catalan winemakers cultivate iconic grape varieties — black, gray and white Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Macabeu, Muscat à petits grains, Lledoner Pelut — often in organic or biodynamic farming. A winery visit in Roussillon is an opportunity to discover dry, fortified or natural wines in a preserved setting, at the heart of a millennia-old wine heritage.
